Why should I register as a member on this site?
What does the directory provide for community groups?
Community organisations can have their group listed on the directory online for free. Group owners can also opt to manage a group page and update details, news and events for members.
Who can add a group?
The Hobsons Bay Community Directory is for community groups or non-profit organisations who are either located, hosted or servicing the Hobsons Bay Area. The community directory does not include commercial business listings at this stage, except those which provide a cultural or community service, such as arts businesses, childcare facilities, eco-businesses, and education, health and aged care services.
Steps for adding your group
To add your group just follow these steps:
- Search for your listing
- If your group is listed and you are the owner of this group then Register and complete a Claim a Group form.
- Once verified you will receive an email letting you know you can login and start posting.
- If your group is not listed then complete the Add a Group form. Once verified you will receive a notification that your listing is up and then you can login to start posting.
Note: Applicants are advised to use an organisational email address wherever possible.
Please note: All new community group entries will be verified and approved by the Hobsons Bay City Council before they are published.
